We answer corrections first. If a number on a page is wrong, or a band does not match your local conditions, send the page address and the value you believe is correct, with whatever source you are working from. Corrections that hold up are made to the page.

What we can and cannot answer

We can explain how a value on a page was derived, why a band is as wide as it is, and what changes in the arithmetic if your soil, climate zone or species is different from the reference case.

We cannot diagnose your lawn, identify a disease from a photo, tell you which herbicide is legal where you live, or give you a treatment plan. Those questions need a soil test and a local recommendation. If your enquiry is one of those, your county or state extension service is the right first stop.

Privacy of your message
